Remains of 1 missing U.S. serviceman recovered: NATO

KABUL (Reuters) - Afghan and foreign forces have recovered the remains of one of two U.S. servicemen who went missing from their compound in Kabul last week, the NATO-led force said on Tuesday.

"Afghan and coalition forces recovered the remains of a missing ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) service member Sunday in eastern Afghanistan after an extensive search," the alliance said in a statement.
